MorseLife Health System has begun a research study involving the use of Cannabis-Based Therapies, led by Dr. Melanie Bone, Associate Professional at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine. This research aims to examine the safety and impacts of THC used in conjunction with CBD on activity, behaviors, and sleep. The project is constructed as a pilot study utilizing objective and subjective parameters examined before, during, and after adding CBD-derived THC to their current CBD regimen.

Findings from this initial research will create a roadmap for other senior health care organizations to implement their Cannabis-Based Therapies. MorseLife is proud to be one of the first senior health care organizations in the country embarking on this critical research and the only senior care organization in the State of Florida authorized to do this.
